Greater Transparency Around AI-Generated Content
As part of our ongoing work with responsible AI and transparency, Actee has updated our AI Security & Architecture Overview to reflect the transparency requirements introduced under Article 50 of the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act.
From now on, games created using the Actee Game Builder may display a notice informing players when game content may have been created or adapted with the support of AI.
The notice will be shown:
• in the game description, and
• when a player starts the game.
AI-supported content may include text, images, video, translations, or other game content.
Game designers can review, edit, replace, or remove AI-generated content before publishing a game and remain responsible for the final content made available to players.
The purpose of the change is simple: to make the use of AI visible and transparent without changing the learning experience.
You can read more in Section 8 of our AI Security & Architecture Overview.
More information about the EU transparency requirements is available in the European Commission's Article 50 guidance.
