The Session Creator Gets A Polish!

This weekend, we will be changing the layout of our session creator. This will make it even easier to plan sessions and make sure that you can get access to all the tools you would like to use in your facilitations. The session creator will still function as a step guide and all of it will be recognizable to you if you have used the old version.

This weekend, we will be changing the layout of our session creator. This will make it even easier to plan sessions and make sure that you can get access to all the tools you would like to use in your facilitation. The session creator will still function as a step guide and all of it will be recognizable to you if you have used the old version. Below is a short description of each step where you can get acquainted with the layout.

1) The Subscription

Choose your environment (you can choose to add your game session to another subscription if you are connected to other clients)

Imagine you have created your own game and want to play this game with a client, but you don’t want the game to be copied. This way, you can add your game to the session but execute the game session in your client’s environment.

2) Come Up With A Session ID

You can choose any name; the system will check if your name is free to use. Remember to use a simple name and not use a name including #€//_..! “#¤ since this can create an issue for users who are logging in using the session name.

3) Select Content For Your Session

Use our brand new filters to navigate through all the exciting tools we have available to you! Simply click one of the filters to activate it and your list of games and tools will shorten! Scroll down to explore and select the game mode once you have located a game you would like to add.

You can get games on all 5 game boards. To ease the understanding for users we are renaming the games to fit the boards you play on. The name change reason is necessary since a lot of the new games are not connected to the themes of Change, Leadership, or Communication. Going forward it means that the + 70 public games will increase and reflect many more topics than the mentioned above.

Names will be:

Communication = Bubble

Leadership = Barometer

Change = Circle

Styletrade = Cards

Quiz = Quiz

Try the new search function and use the new filters allowing you to filter on time to play, theory, private or public game, tools. You will also be able to select new games, most recently played, and a lot more.

4) Session Overview

Check out your session overview before moving on. In this step, you will be able to test the games you have added to your session.

The rest of the step guide should be easily recognizable if you have used the old version of the tool. We hope that you like the new version and that you will have an easier time finding exactly what you need!
